We set up an SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) for every property on the platform. When you buy an investment ticket, you are buying shares in this SPV that owns the property.
A Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) is just a fancy way of saying “a separate new entity” – it’s no different than setting up a new business. The only difference is that an SPV can only do 1 thing, in this case, own a property,
When an SPV is first created, it is owned by the initial asset owner. Any investment that comes in, results in a share transfer of that SPV from the asset owner to the investor in an amount equal to the portion of the property invested in. So in essence, if you invest in 10% of a property, you will own 10% of the SPV shares.
The title deed will be owned by the SPV. This means that any shareholders of the SPV would also be shareholders of the property.

There is no holding period! You can flip your share the moment you purchase it, though as a rule of thumb, when dealing with real estate it is advisable that you hold for at least a rental accrual period (varies by property).
An SPV ensures that the title deed is held in common between all shareholders. That means if you own 10% of the SPV you own 10% of the underlying property. There is currently no way to allow for more than 4 investors on a title deed directly, so an SPV is the next best thing!

KYC or KYC check is the mandatory process of identifying and verifying the client's identity when opening an account and periodically over time.
In other words, we must make sure that our clients are genuinely who they claim to be.
KYC may be a little tedious but it is mandatory in order to protect everyone involved in a transaction. We do this to make sure that no sanctioned individual or entity can participate as this can taint the entire investment.
In other words, if you are about to make an investment or financial decision, make sure that you are being KYC'd! Lack of KYC is actually a major red flag for all regulators, financial institutions and investors.
